Lead Design Engineer - Seats
A vacancy has arisen for the role of Lead Engineer - Seats, reporting to Engineering Manager.
Prime responsibilities will be:
Lead and manage the activities of the seat design team.
Provide program planning and monitoring down to drawing level.
Predicting potential slippage and taking proactive corrective action.
Coordination with customer engineering and airframe engineering.
Qualified to obtain CVE for design after suitable training.
In depth knowledge of FAR’s and EASE requirements for airline cabin interiors.
Provide technical leadership for seat design for the company.

The suitable applicant will possess either a mechanical engineering or aeronautical engineering degree or have been educated to HNC standard with appropriate experience, specially gained from within an airline cabin interiors design environment.  You will also have a proven track record of leading an engineering team.

Technical Support Team Leader
Provide leadership and management to the Technical Support team and be responsible for internal product support for our client’s suite of products including in-service seats, galleys and crew rests.
